Green to Grow's silicone nipples are made from a transparent, medical grade silicone that is heat-resistant, non-toxic, and odorless. The nipples are free of nitrosamines, a potentially harmful contaminant found in many rubber nipples. Nipples come in three flow speeds; beginner (0-3 months), intermediate (3-6 months), expert (6+ months). They are top rack dishwasher safe.

The decision to launch Green to Grow grew from alarm and frustration as reports were read that highlighted the potential dangers presented by polycarbonate plastic. This plastic contains the hormone disruptor bisphenol A; a neurological, developmental, and reproductive toxant. To ensure the highest level of quality and safety, they have bottles periodically spot tested for bisphenol A, phthalates, and lead at an environmental laboratory in Chicago, Illinois. Green to Grow uses 100% recycled paper and soy inks in all of their packaging and printed corporate materials. They have partnered with 1% for the Planet, pledging to donate 1% of annual sales to environmental causes.
